An Efficient and Reliable Multicasting for Smart Cities

The Internet of thing (IoT) is a growing concept for smart cities, and it compulsory to communicate data between different networks devices. In the IoT, communication should be rapid with less delay overhead. For this purpose, flooding used reliable in cities but at cost higher overhead, energy consumption packet drop etc. This paper aims increase efficiency term overhead reliability by using multicasting unicasting instead during forwarding city IoT concept. paper, within receiver-initiated mesh-based topology disseminate cluster head. Smart are divided into head, each head or core node will responsible transferring desired receiver. protocol novel approach according best our knowledge, proves very useful due its because collection devices having similar interest transmission data. results implemented Network simulator 2 (NS-2). result shows that proposed performance throughput, drop, as compared benchmark schemes.
